1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter “GTC”) apply to all bookings made and contracts concluded via the donnarossa.ch website.

This booking site is managed by the private person Sabrina Schumacher (hereinafter referred to as “donnarossa”).

2. Conclusion of contract

The booking is considered confirmed as soon as the registration form of an offer has been completely filled out and sent by the clientele, the payment of the offer fees has been booked on the bank or PayPal account of donnarossa and a booking confirmation has been sent to the clientele.

Donnarossa is free to set the prices and may change them at any time. For bookings, the price published on the website shall be decisive.

Prices are quoted in CHF. VAT is not currently charged and therefore not shown, as donnarossa is not subject to VAT.

3. Workshops

3.1 Registration

Registration takes place via booking page (https://donnarossa.ch/de/workshops/) or e-mail.

Afterwards, donnarossa will confirm your participation in writing via e-mail and send you the definitive confirmation of registration as well as the invoice. After sending the booking confirmation and the invoice, the registration is binding.

3.2 Payment

Payments are made exclusively in Swiss francs (CHF) by bank transfer, Paypal or major credit and debit cards. Any transfer fees are to be borne by the client. Refunds are made by bank transfer or Paypal.

The agreed course fee must be paid within the period stated at the time of registration (normally 1 working day for bank transfers or 10 minutes for PayPal payments). Non-payment or late payment of the course fee will result in the automatic cancellation of the booking.

3.3 Cancellation & Withdrawal

Registration for the workshop is binding and the course fees are owed even in the case of unexcused non-attendance or cancellation.

Course fees will only be refunded in the event of illness or accident and on presentation of a medical certificate up to 5 days before the workshop.

If the client can provide a substitute, no additional costs will be incurred. In this case, the person who originally registered must provide the following details of the substitute person by e-mail: Name, first name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

If donnarossa has to cancel a workshop due to too few registrations or for reasons beyond its control, the course fee already paid will be refunded in full. No further claims can be made.

3.4 Course organisation

For organisational reasons, donnarossa reserves the right to postpone or combine courses or to change the venue.

Donnarossa reserves the right to change the on-site lessons to distance learning under the same conditions if the on-site lessons cannot be maintained, e.g. due to force majeure or other reasons.

3.5 Course locations and delivery

In order to be able to run the courses under optimal conditions, donnarossa sets a minimum and a maximum number of participants for each workshop, which can be adjusted if necessary. Course places are allocated in the order in which registrations are received (subject to timely payment).

If there are insufficient participants, the workshop will generally not take place and the course fee will be refunded.

Donnarossa further reserves the right to cancel announced workshops due to other reasons beyond the control of donnarossa. Course fees already paid will be refunded.

3.6 Respect and protection of copyrights

The files and documents may only be accessed (downloaded) and printed out by the person participating in the workshops for their own purposes.

Otherwise, all rights of use to the files and documents remain reserved. Therefore, in particular, the making of copies of files or printouts for third parties, the passing on or forwarding of files to third parties or any other use for other than one’s own study purposes, whether in return for payment or free of charge, requires the express prior written consent of donnarossa.

4. Knitting patterns

4.1 Purchase of knitting patterns

Donnarossa offers knitting patterns via various platforms (e.g. Ravelry, LoveCrafts, Payhip, Makerist). Customers agree to the terms and conditions of the relevant platforms as soon as they make a purchase.

4.2 Payment

Payments are made by Paypal or common credit and debit cards. Any transfer fees shall be borne by the clientele.

4.3 Refund

Knitting patterns (PDFs) will not be refunded after download.

4.4 Respect and protection of copyright and trademark rights

The files and documents may only be accessed (downloaded) and printed by the person who purchased the instructions and only for their own purposes.

Otherwise, all rights of use to the files and documents remain reserved. Therefore, in particular, the making of copies of files or printouts for third parties, the passing on or forwarding of files to third parties or any other use for other than own study purposes, whether against payment or free of charge, requires the express prior written consent of donnarossa.

5. Exclusion of liability and insurance

Donnarossa excludes any kind of liability, in particular for illness, accident or bodily injury. Insurance is the responsibility of the client.

Course participants are obliged to comply with the current official directives (e.g. hygiene regulations) in the course rooms. Participants with symptoms of illness, suspected infection with transmissible pathogens and/or quarantine (imposed by the authorities or by themselves) are not permitted to attend the workshops. The risk of infection cannot be completely excluded even if hygiene rules are observed. Donnarossa excludes any liability in this regard.

The customer cannot derive any rights from the non-achievement of learning objectives/success, in particular no refund of course fees.

6. Data protection

The processing of personal data in connection with the courses with donnarossa is subject to the data protection declaration of donnarossa. The data protection declaration explains how donnarossa handles personal data in connection with the courses and contains, in particular, information on what personal data is processed for and what rights data subjects have with regard to their personal data. The privacy policy is available online, currently at https://donnarossa.ch/privacy-policy/. By registering, customers accept the processing of their personal data in accordance with the data protection declaration.

7. Changes to offers, prices and general terms and conditions

Donnarossa reserves the right to change the offer, the prices and the GTC at any time. The version valid at the time of registration is decisive in each case, which cannot be changed unilaterally for the conclusion of this contract.
