The Sihlwald hat knitting pattern is inspired by the natural beauty of the Sihlwald, a wild forest just outside Zurich. Only a few minutes from the city, this untouched woodland offers a peaceful contrast to urban life — moss-covered paths, ancient trees, and the gentle sound of the river.

These contrasts between city and nature inspired the Sihlwald hat, a reversible knitting pattern that reflects both calm and energy. Just like the forest itself, the hat has two sides — one simple and serene, the other textured and full of life.
