The sea is a place of energy and relaxation at the same time. It can make waves as well as be smooth. This energetic place can be dark or turquoise blue. Vitamin Sea unites these opposites. The design is powerful and nestles warmly around your neck.

The shawl is an asymmetric triangle and is reversible, textured and coloured. With clean lines and an easy knit, it’s a great way to spice up your wardrobe.

Vitamin Sea is worked bottom up and made from three triangles, each with a different appearance. The three different textures are formed by two-coloured garter stitch, brioche and syncopated brioche stitch.

It’s finished with an I-cord edge. For an edgier look, add tassels at the corners.

To make the shawl larger (or smaller), work the 8-row pattern repeat of the main body a multiple of 3 times more (or less) before you start with the syncopated brioche section. Be aware that if you do so, you will need more (or less) yarn.

Yarn weight
It’s possible to work this shawl in a different yarn weight with the relevant needle size.
