The shawl is inspired by Luigi Nervi’s Palazzetto dello Sport in Milano. The concrete ribs of the roof draw a fine net which gets bigger towards the outside.
The shawl is knitted from the centre to the outside. Twisted stitches draw the supporting structure of Palazetto. Starting in the centre with only a few increase rows, the twisted stitches flow to the edge.
A horizontal line, which looks like it is knitted sideways, divides the body and the border of the shawl.
