Almost a year ago I was in rehab because of my knee injury. I shared my room with two other women. One was there because of her new artificial knee-joint and the other woman because of her migraine. We all got along with each other. We had long discussions and good laughter in spite of our different ages. That helped a lot for our recovery and made the time there easier. We still try to meet us monthly. The last meeting we had to cancel because elder woman of them had some serious heart problems. So, I wanted to knit something for her. She deserves a warm hug.
This the Semele shawl knitted in Malabrigo Sock Yarn with the colorway “Archangel” which I bought in Chicago. It’s already the second time I knit this pattern. It’s well written and I like the design. The yarn is my favorite yarn as it is so soft.
I’ve added some golden beads for a special look. Hope she likes it….
